Opening Post

The reason of to why I had been asked to create this blog in particular was as it was away that I was able to show the work in which myself and the rest of my group had produced during the preparation of the advert. In addition to this by creating this blog I was able to show a range of my work in various formats that come across as rather inviting. For example below you will come across mind maps, moodboards and various presentations. And I guess by doing these simple tasks I will be able to show various skills and how confident I am towards this unit. Other than this you may notice that we have explored are target audience as well as responding to their opinions.

Designs (Packaging)






To the left you notice a handful of skectes. A handful of sketches of what I intend on myselves and my groups washing powder packaging to turn out looking like.Considering the fact that we as a group would be creating our own product I guess I have chosen quite simple shapes to imitate when it comes to the construction of our product. In addition to this I suppose I wanted to design something that I guess was accessable.

Mood Board

Here you see that I have created a moodboard showing various brands that appear to be producing a range of washing powder. In a way by creating this particular piece of work I guess when it comes to creating the packaging for myself and ,my groups washing powder we will be able to gather up a few ideas from rival companies. And with the help of these ideas I guess we will then be able to pick out the bad and the good through catagorising the good techniques from the bad.

Mind Map

Above you see a mind map, a mind map of ideas that myself and fellow members of my group suggested. You may notice that we have considered many corners when considering an advert such as visuals, slogans, names and the target audience in which we intend to aim our advert towards. During this point of the production we haven't yet been able to consider our final idea.
